James S sticking it to the Master's As at Krugers.It was fast. Very fast. Made it until the leaders got "1 to go" and I was caught, frothing at the mouth like a runaway dog. It's really different racing a bike at night.
In the Master's 35+ B race, Maxwell Kullaway and Bernard Georges (Hup Seattle) broke loose early as BG got the hole shot and got major air time for HUP UNITED. Too bad the annoucing que sheet had cut off nearly all of the last names of most of the riders. Max Kulla and Bernard Geor were killing it non-stop. MK ended 5th (on the podium again) and BG took 9th.
In the Men's B race, the babysitters didn't show up so the U18 Rad Racing kids stole the show. For most of the race, the 4-boy team was on the front, DRILLING it. Hup United Oregon fielded a strong B presence with Max M., Slate O, Dan R, and Adrian O making the trip up.

I've uploaded a bunch of photos of the race. You can see them on my site. I got some good shots of the Masters Race (Maxwell and Bernard) and of the B Race (Max, Slate, AO, and Dan). There are a few shots of Zac in the Elite race, but they turned out a bit blurry/out of focus because of the lack of light.
All I got to say is that Bernard does not look half as good without me chasing him around the course. So Cal misses ya!
